01Who we are

Figcel makes Instagram carousels and Meta ads from a brand’s own website. Figcel is run by legal entity name, registered address, India (“Figcel”, “we”). For the personal data described here, we decide how and why it is used.

02What we collect

Your account. Your email address, and your name if you give it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store them.
The website you give us. We read the public pages of the site you paste: its words, colours, fonts, logo, product photos and prices. We keep what we found and the packs we make from it.
What you do in Figcel. Your edits, the notes you write when you redo a carousel, your choices of size, style and photos, and your downloads.
Basic technical data. Your IP address, browser, the pages you open and errors, kept in our server logs to keep the service safe and working.
Payments, once billing opens. A payment provider will take your card or UPI details directly. We will receive only what we need to run your plan: the plan, its status and the last digits of the card.

03Why we use it

To make and keep your packs, and to run your account.
To keep Figcel secure, stop abuse and keep each pack within our limits.
To answer you when you write to us.
To make Figcel better, for example by looking at where our looks or checks fall short on real packs.
To meet our legal duties, such as keeping tax records.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that run Figcel for us, under contract, and only what each one needs:

Google Cloud and Firebase host Figcel, store your packs and handle sign-in, in Google’s Mumbai region (asia-south1).
OpenAI (United States) and DeepSeek (China) write the words on your carousels and your ad copy. We send them what is needed to write: what we read on your site, your brief and your notes. Your account details are not sent.

We may also share data with professional advisers, or when the law requires it.

05Where it is kept

Your account and packs are stored in India, in Mumbai. The writing services above process the text we send them in their own countries, under their terms for business use.

06How long we keep it

We keep your account and packs while your account is open. Server logs are kept for 30 days. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records the law asks us to keep, such as invoices.

07Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
have it corrected, completed or erased;
withdraw your consent, which stops future use;
nominate someone to act for you;
raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

08Cookies and storage

Figcel uses one cookie, to keep you signed in to the app. This site remembers your Tune choices in your own browser’s storage, which is never sent to us. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

09Children

Figcel is for businesses and people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10Security

Data travels encrypted, and only the people and services that run Figcel can reach it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

11Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect.

12Grievance officer
