Skincare Instagram carousel templates that sell

The skincare carousels that sell do one job each: launch one product with proof, teach a routine and bust a myth, sell gift sets, or show a range of shades. Below are four carousels made by Figcel for invented beauty brands, with how each one is built slide by slide, so you can make the same for your own store.

1. The launch: one product, every proof

A launch carousel sells one hero product. The cover states the promise, the middle slides prove it, and the last two give the price and the action. Dewlight, an invented sunscreen brand, opens on "No white cast. Just SPF 50." and then gives one fact per slide: why you need it on the commute, what SPF 50 filters, the texture, and how the gel compares with a cream.

Dewlight, an invented brand. Made by Figcel from the brief: A sun gel that leaves no white cast, sold like a product launch.

Why it works:

  • The cover names the problem it solves. A white cast is the reason many people skip sunscreen, so the promise speaks to it directly.
  • One number per slide. Each fact gets its own slide and stays readable at a glance.
  • A comparison before the price. "Gel or cream?" helps people choose before they are asked to buy.

2. The routine: teach, then sell

A routine carousel earns saves. It teaches something useful and lets the product appear as part of the answer. Dewlight’s routine opens with "Two tubes. Every skin tone.", picks the formula by skin type, gives the amount to use, and ends on a myth: SPF in your makeup is enough.

Dewlight, an invented brand. Made by Figcel from the brief: A calm sun routine: which tube for which skin, and one myth.

Why it works:

  • A myth near the end gives people a reason to finish and to send it to a friend.
  • Steps with numbers ("two finger lengths") are easy to follow and remember.
  • The last slide asks for a save, which keeps the post working for weeks.

3. The gift sets: decided for them

In gifting season, shoppers want someone else to choose. Maison Lune, an invented skincare brand, gives three sets a slide each, says who each one is for, and ends with "Which set is theirs? Comment 1, 2 or 3."

Maison Lune, an invented brand. Made by Figcel from the brief: Three skincare gift sets for Christmas, with a poll to finish.

Why it works:

  • Each set has a person in mind, which is how people shop for gifts.
  • A question on the last slide brings comments, and the comments tell you which set to push.
  • One mood for the whole carousel makes three products feel like one collection.

4. The shade collection: let them choose

For colour products, a carousel is a shade card. Nerava, an invented lip and cheek tint brand, gives each shade a name, a slide and a line, then shows how one stick works two ways.

Nerava, an invented brand. Made by Figcel from the brief: Five lip and cheek tint shades, collected as a beauty shade-card book.

Why it works:

  • Names people can say ("Gulabi", "Jamun") make a shade easier to ask for and to remember.
  • One shade per slide stops the swatches from blurring together.
  • The offer is a choice, not a discount: choose your shade.

Questions

What should a skincare carousel post include?

One promise on the first slide, the proof on the middle slides (a fact, a texture, a result), and one ask on the last: save, comment or shop.

How many slides should a skincare carousel have?

Six to eight. Enough for the promise, three or four proofs and the offer, short enough to be read to the end.

Can I use these carousels for my own brand?

These brands are invented to show what Figcel makes. Paste your own store’s link and Figcel makes carousels like these in your colours, fonts and photos.

Should skincare carousels show prices?

For launches and gift sets, yes, on the last slides. For routines and myths, lead with the advice and leave the price for the caption or the link.
