Indian festival Instagram carousel templates: Diwali, Dussehra and Pujo
Festival carousels that sell in India tie each slide to the festival itself: one piece for each day of Diwali, one gift per slide under a price, one sweet for each day of Durga Puja, or a launch timed to Dussehra night. Below are four carousels made by Figcel for invented Indian brands, with how each is built, so you can make the same for your own festival season.
1. One piece for each day: the Diwali edit
Kanak, an invented jeweller, builds the carousel around the days of Diwali: one piece of gold for each day that matters, from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj. The festival gives the carousel its order, so every swipe feels like the next day arriving.
Why it works:
- The festival is the structure. Days of Diwali make a natural sequence, so people swipe to see the next.
- Dhanteras is named. Buying gold on Dhanteras is a long-standing custom, so the carousel starts there, with a first coin.
- One piece per slide keeps each product clear and makes the carousel easy to save.
2. Gifts under a price: the Diwali gift guide
Gadget Galli, an invented electronics shop, puts a price limit on the cover and one gift on each slide, each with a reason tied to the season, and ends with the date to order by for delivery before Dhanteras.
Why it works:
- A price limit answers the first question a gift buyer has.
- Reasons from the season (the wedding playlist, the rooftop speaker, the photos of every rangoli) make each gift feel chosen.
- A delivery deadline gives a reason to buy now.
3. One sweet for each day: the Pujo box
Mishti Katha, an invented Bengali sweet shop, makes a box of sweets for Durga Puja, one for each day of the festival. The carousel is the menu and the countdown in one.
Why it works:
- A regional festival in its own words. Pujo is told the way Bengal tells it, not as a generic sale.
- A box, not a list. Selling the set makes the order easy and the gift complete.
4. A launch for the night: Dussehra
Nightjar, an invented phone brand, launches a phone with a night camera just before Dussehra: a night sensor for the festival lights, steady 4K video for the fireworks, and an exchange offer that ends on a set date.
Why it works:
- The product meets the moment. A night camera launched before an evening of lights and fireworks gives people a reason to buy now.
- Specs as stories. Each feature is shown as something you would film that night.
- An offer with an end date. The exchange offer runs to a named day, so waiting has a cost.

Questions
When should I post Diwali carousels?
Start three to five weeks before Diwali with a teaser and your gift guide, and post the offer in the week of Dhanteras, two days before Lakshmi Puja. Our festival calendar has the dates and a start date for each.
What makes a festival carousel feel festive without looking like a template?
Use your own colours and type, and bring the festival in through the details: a diya, marigolds, the days of the festival, a delivery date before it. A generic greeting card looks like everyone else’s.
Can these carousels be used for my brand?
These brands are invented to show what Figcel makes. Paste your own store’s link and Figcel makes festival carousels like these in your colours, fonts and photos.
Should festival carousels have a delivery deadline?
Yes. For anything bought as a gift, the last date an order arrives in time is a reason to buy now. Put it on the first or the last slide.
